Valerie Roy-Lang is a Clinical Therapist offering services in both English and French to individuals, couples, and families. She also offers workshops and training on a variety of subjects. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2004 and her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2013 from Université de Moncton. She has experience in child protection, family violence, and mental health services.
Valerie is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers and is actively involved in her community. She is the Vice-President of the local Chapter of her association and is a volunteer and member of the New Brunswick Adoption Foundation.
Valerie’s counselling approach includes several therapies and are adapted to the client’s needs. These include a Trauma Focused Approach, Solution Focused Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Play Therapy. She believes in increasing self-awareness and self-care, as well as guiding and empowering individuals so that they can lead happier and more fulfilling lives.
